Number Seven

Lucky for some. And any arguments about botanical accuracy should be addressed to Emma and not me! Hope that doesn't constitute a clue...

  1. ooh tricky. I have an idea but I'm not sure on the botanical accuracy of my idea and I'm also not sure that my idea is a compound word - what I am thinking is usually expressed as two separate words!

  2. And she's off! Amanda leaves the starting block, leaps the first hurdle, no trouble, but Oh No! is that the second hurdle knocked down? Oh dear, she's blundering through now, never going to finish the race! But who's that? Could that be Mr PC, coming along behind, picking up those hurdles? Yes it is! There he is, encouraging Amanda to get up and carry on. Off they go together... but will they reach the end? There's one hurdle they still seem to be ignoring. Will they sort it out by the end of the race? Watch this space...

    1. Ha! Mr Quince Tree is bloody useless at this. He doesn't really understand what a compound word is.

  3. And again, I have an answer that makes me nervous. I should say in my defence that if you'd had pictures of yeast, or gene structure, I'd have no trouble but plant structure is not my specialist area ... Given her comment I think I may have the same answer as Louise, which is reassuring.

    1. But I'm thinking you and Louise are wrong..... (if I've guessed your guess correctly)!

  4. Blimey. This is all getting a bit intense now. Botanical accuracy, mind-reading, useless husbands...
I have no idea about this one. I need tea and toast first.

    1. 4am is totally above and beyond the call of duty - do we need a warning disclaimer 'may give rise to insomnia'?!
