A very warm welcome to Round 3 of The Compound Word Project! If you've played before, you know the drill, and if this is your first time, greetings - it's lovely to have you playing along in the seasonal version of the game.
The rules are straightforward:
Really hoping you have the chance to join in. Please do feel free to spread the word about the game. Also, there are links to all of the Round 3 photographers in the sidebar if you'd like to pay them a visit.
For the first time, we will also be playing on Instagram where the game can be found at @compoundwordproject - so please follow along there, if Instagram is your preferred option.
Just so you get the hang of it, have a go at this seasonal one:
Easy? Hope so! Let the festive games begin...
The rules are straightforward:
- During the next fortnight, a series of diptychs will be posted on this blog - each will represent a compound word.
- Take a look and guess the solution to each one (but please, don't be tempted to post your answer in the comments section - just note it down privately).
- When you have seen all the diptychs, drop an email with one answer for each diptych to me {alisonhudson03@hotmail.com} - I will let you know how many you got correct. Your first submission is the only one I can accept - no second chances!
- I will publish the correct answers on the blog once the deadline for submitting guesses has passed.
